- Director of the European Research Center for Information Systems (ERCIS) and Chair of Information Systems & Business Process Management at the University of Münster in Germany. Named an AIS Fellow, an Academic Research Fellow at MIT Center for Information Systems Research, Distinguished Professor at the National University of Ireland, Maynooth, a Fellow of the ESCP Center for Design Science in Entrepreneurship and a Schöller Senior Fellow at at the FAU Friedrich–Alexander University Erlangen–Nürnberg. Also, Visiting Professor at the University of Liechtenstein, and Associated Lecturer at the University of St.Gallen (HSG) and the University of Luzern in Switzerland.

Students won international prizes and recognitions like the Accenture Campus Challenge, the SAP DemoJam, the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting Young Researcher Invitation, and the Liechtenstein Young Researcher Award. Awarded the AIS Award for Innovation in Teaching and the AIS Award for Outstanding Contribution to Information Systems Education in 2017.
